WATCH MY VIDEO... Meet Mouse, a sweet 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who is learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. We don't know much about her past, but when Mouse first arrived, she was frightened and unsure of everything around her. Thankfully, she's beginning to understand that she's safe and that the people here want to help her. We've seen tremendous growth over the past few weeks, and it's wonderful to watch her confidence slowly blossom. Mouse is still a bit nervous, especially around loud noises and unexpected sounds, but she's making wonderful progress with people. Once outside in a quieter setting, her sweet personality starts to shine. She enjoys exploring, but what she really loves is affection! She'll happily approach you, nudge your hand for attention, and soak up head pats and cheek rubs. There's something especially heartwarming about watching this once-terrified girl seek out love on her own. Mouse isn't looking for a home filled with excitement and commotion. She needs a patient, understanding person who will give her the time, reassurance, and gentle encouragement she needs to feel secure. With a little love and a lot of patience, this special girl has so much potential. Mouse has already come a long way. Imagine how far she could go with someone who believes in her!
