Tala is a stunning black Belgian Malinois whose beauty is matched only by her incredible spirit. This spunky, energetic girl has overcome more than most dogs ever should. She was discovered abandoned in a backyard after her family moved away, left tethered with a rope embedded in her neck, surviving with little more than a container that occasionally collected rainwater. Despite the neglect she endured, Tala's love for people never faded.
Today, Tala is thriving and ready to write the next chapter of her story with a family of her own. She is the definition of a velcro dog, happiest when she's by your side and involved in whatever you're doing. Whether it's an outdoor adventure, a training session, or simply relaxing at home, Tala wants to be your constant companion.
True to her Malinois roots, Tala is intelligent, athletic, and always ready for action. She loves to play and is absolutely obsessed with toys. In fact, she takes her toy collection very seriously and, like many proud "maligators," can turn even the toughest toy into pieces with impressive efficiency. If it squeaks, bounces, or can be carried around, Tala is all in.
One of Tala's best qualities is her wonderful temperament. She adores people and forms strong bonds, yet she's confident and secure enough to be left alone without separation anxiety. She's crate trained, house trained, and understands how to settle when it's time to relax.
Tala is looking for a home that will appreciate both her adventurous spirit and her affectionate heart. She has survived the worst that humans had to offer and still chooses to greet the world with joy, enthusiasm, and unconditional love. We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
