Meet Jazmin, the 2 year old Russian blue kitty. She came to the shelter when her ownerâs landlord no longer allowed her. In her previous home, Jazmin was a indoor-outdoor cat, and she may do well in a similar setup in her new home after she has at least 30 days to decompress and get to know her home. She might do just as well as an indoor only cat to keep her and our wildlife safe. Things like harness training or a catio setup could help ease her transition to the indoor lifestyle. Jazmin was a bit shy when she first joined us at the shelter, but after decompressing she accepts head scratches, has âelevator buttâ, and is overall a loving girl. If this cat sounds like a good fit for your home, she is here at the shelter waiting to meet you!
Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
