Matilda recently enjoyed a fabulous sleepover with her weekend host family, and she has officially decided that the good life is for her. Cozy spots inside the house? Check. Her favorite humans nearby? Check. Plenty of opportunities for snoozles and snuggles? Absolutely!
Matilda has just one small concern about her future living arrangements. Apparently, humans think they can do things other than cuddle her. The audacity!
MATILDA'S OFFICIAL CUDDLE CONTRACT. Cuddles 24/7, no exceptions. One 30-minute break for lunch. Two 15-minute breaks per day. Failure to comply may result in dramatic sighs, heartbreaking sad eyes, and a land hippo who is deeply disappointed in your priorities.
Matilda is currently enjoying life in a foster home while she waits for her forever family. She is ready to find a home where her cuddle schedule will finally be respected. She loves attention, appreciates a good compliment, and firmly believes there is no such thing as too many pets. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be right by your side, Matilda may be your girl!
Matilda would prefer to be your one and only pet, as she wants all the love and attention for herself. She has tested very well with children and loves being the center of attention.
Before adoption, Matilda will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Since Matilda is currently in a foster home, she is not at the shelter for walk-in visits. Please contact Tulare County Animal Services to schedule a meet and greet with this sweet land hippo!
