Hi I'm Boo, I may not be the first one to greet you at the door. In fact, when I'm somewhere new or meeting new people, my usual strategy is to find a cozy hiding spot and watch things from a safe distance. But don't let that fool you. Curiosity always seems to get the best of me! Once I start feeling comfortable and secure, you'll see me peeking out, exploring my surroundings, and figuring out what adventures await.
When it comes to playtime, I transform into a whole different cat. Feather toys on strings are my absolute favorite. There's just something about leaping, chasing, and pouncing on those fluttering feathers that gives me a real sense of kitty purpose. If you've got a wand toy in your hand, you've got my attention!
I'm not the kind of cat who immediately loves being picked up, but with patience and trust, I can surprise you. When I feel safe with someone, I'll let myself relax into their arms and enjoy the closeness. Building that trust takes a little time, but I'm worth the wait.
What I need most is a family that understands that confidence doesn't always happen overnight. Give me a little patience, a few feather toys, and a safe place to be myself, and you'll get to watch me blossom into the sweet, playful companion I truly am.
