Meet Ernie – A Young-at-Heart Gentleman Looking for His Happily Ever After! ❤️!

Hello, everyone! My name is Ernest, but my friends call me Ernie. I'm a distinguished senior gentleman, approximately 15–17 years young, but don't let my age fool you! I've still got plenty of pep in my step and a playful spirit that might surprise you!

Wand toys? Absolutely! Balls? Bring them on! Toy mice? You bet! I love batting, chasing, and playing with my favorite toys. Apparently, age is just a number, especially when there's fun to be had!

My story has had a little heartbreak. I once thought I had found my forever home, and I spent nearly a decade with my family. Sadly, through no fault of my own, I found myself back in rescue. I don't quite understand what happened, but I'm doing my best to make the most of things while I wait for someone to choose me again.

My foster mom is wonderful, and I'm grateful for all the love and care she gives me. But what I'd really love is a home to call my own again. A place where I can settle in, feel safe, and know that I'm someone's special boy for good.

I'm not really a lap cat, but that doesn't mean I'm short on affection! I enjoy gentle pets, attention, and being loved. And in return? I'll reward you with plenty of happy purrs. I may not always want to curl up in your lap, but I'll certainly let you know how much I appreciate you!

I could be perfectly happy as your one and only feline companion, soaking up all the attention. However, I wouldn't mind sharing my home with another calm, respectful cat who understands boundaries and appreciates a peaceful coexistence.

You know, being a senior doesn't mean I'm finished having adventures. I still have toys to chase, purrs to share, and so much love left to give. I'm simply hoping someone will look past my age and see the wonderful boy I am.

Could you be the person who gives this sweet senior gentleman the forever home he deserves? I've already lost one home, and I'd really love for my next one to be my last.

Love, Ernie❤️
