Queen Bea is hoping to find a home where she can be loved and cared for once again, as she was in the past before before her aging human slowly became unaware of her grooming needs, passed away, and left the Queen alone.
We chose a royal name for our beautiful girl, because her name was unknown when she arrived, and we felt she needed a moral uplift. Queen Bea’s age of ten years is a best-guess, but her charming personality and her love ❤️ and appreciation for attention are known. She is scheduled for a vet exam on Thursday, where we hope her painful thick mats can be shaved (or removed without shaving to save her luxurious coat). Although she must be painful from the matting, she loves having her ears scratched, and adores attention. Living in a shelter cage is not the life this senior queen had pictured, and we are hoping for a home for her as soon as we can find one.
