Meet Toes, the black and white kitten. Toes came into the Shelter with his two littermates as a fearful kitten. He spent a couple of weeks in foster socializing and growing big and strong to prepare for adoption. Her foster reports: `Toes- the youngest brother to Whisker and Socks. He's the thinker of the group, you can easily see him watching his surroundings carefully while planning his sneak attacks. Also the biggest lover, not shy about asking to be held, he'd be completely happy spending the day in your lap.`
Toes is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery.
Toes' adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks tot he Bogey Fund - a fund that draws adopter's eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters.
Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
