Bingo

KindDog
BreedGreat Pyrenees mix

Bingo is a goofy, gentle, affectionate boy who's hoping to find a person to call his very own!

Bingo may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, prepare to have a furry shadow following you everywhere. This sweet boy loves being as close to his people as physically possible, whether that's snuggling up for affection, collecting chin scratches, or simply keeping you company. He's also got a playful side! He enjoys chasing games, exploring new places, running alongside his person on walks, and chewing on his favorite toys.

At his young age, Bingo has a moderate energy level with a wonderfully chill side, too. He's still figuring out which household items are toys and which aren't, and he's working on learning his commands and responding to his name. But he's eager to please, picks things up quickly, and is very treat motivated. He's also potty trained, will let you know when he needs to go outside, and has caught on to household routines quickly. Kennel time is getting easier with the help of a few tasty treats!

Bingo is a pretty easygoing guy when it comes to handling. Brushing, ear cleaning, and having his mouth, paws, and tail touched are all things he tolerates without batting an eye. He's done well with the other dog in his foster home, though he'll need some continued guidance learning to ignore other dogs while out on walks. He can also experience a little separation anxiety, so he'll benefit from patience and time to adjust as he settles into a new home.

Bingo is still learning all about the world, and he'd love a family who can help him navigate it with kindness, consistency, and plenty of encouragement. In return, you'll get a loyal, snuggly, silly best friend who's happiest right by your side. He's got all the makings of a wonderful companion, and we can't wait for him to find his person!

Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events!

We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently.

Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.

If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.

Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home.

Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.

The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up.

Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
