Meet Chrome, a 2 year-old English Bulldog with stunning merle coloring, a giant head, a bigger personality, and 62 pounds of pure Bulldog charm.
Chrome came to us when his family made the difficult and loving decision to give him the opportunity to find a home with more time to dedicate to him. Since then, he's proven exactly why people fall head over heels for Bulldogs. He's lazy. He's stubborn. He's goofy. He's equal parts couch potato and comedian. And somehow, despite all of that, he manages to be completely irresistible.
Chrome loves people, adores car rides, enjoys walks and adventures, and has never met a sunny spot he didn't want to nap in. He's wonderful with other dogs, does well with cats, and is good with children, though they should be sturdy because Chrome occasionally forgets that he's built like a small tank.
He's beautifully leash trained, crate trained, and housetrained. His foster works from home and lets him out frequently, which he's come to appreciate. A fenced yard where he can patrol for squirrels and work on his sunbathing career would be a dream come true.

Chrome has an EXTREMELY sensitive stomach.
When we say sensitive, we don't mean "occasionally gets an upset tummy." We mean months of testing, medications, veterinary visits, diet trials, and lots of trial and error before finally finding the magic solution. The good news? We found it.
Chrome must remain on Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Skin & Food Sensitivities Hydrolyzed Chicken Formula Dry Dog Food. Yes, it costs about $130 per bag. Yes, that's expensive. No, we're not kidding.
But after months of searching for answers, this diet has been life-changing for Chrome. He is now healthy, happy, comfortable, and thriving. The catch? He absolutely cannot cheat on his diet.
